Elvin Yusifli is responsible as a facilitator of the Peacebuilding through Capacity Enhancement and Civic Engagement (PeaCE) Programme in Azerbaijan. In this capacity, he works with multiple stakeholders directly or indirectly affected by the ongoing Nagorno Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He previously worked as project director with Transparency International’s Azerbaijan Chapter. His research interests include problems of transparency and accountability in governance. As an Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellow, Elvin holds a master’s degree in social and public policy from Duquesne University. Elvin has also taught courses in theories of international relations, comparative politics and democracy at Khazar University.
