Nisa Hajiyeva graduated from the Law faculty of Baku State University and then got a master degree in International Crime and Justice in University of Turin and United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI). Specialiezed at Conflict Management, Project Management, and Philosophy of Science. After geting a Law degree she became a Lawyer at Transparency International (Azerbaijan chapter), where she was Providing free-of-charge legal assistance and counseling to the citizens with complaints on corruption and human rights violations. Then as a Coordinator of National Integrity System (NIS) assessment Project contributed to the regional dimension of the project. At the moment Nisa Hajiyeva is a Project Officer of the “Peacebuilding through Capacity Enhancement and Civic Engagement” (PeaCE) programme funded by the European Union under the Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace (IcSP).
