Nuriyya holds BA in International Relations from Baku Engineering University. She is also an alumna of Study of U.S. Institutes (SUSI) on Local, State and Federal Public Policymaking in Southern Illinois University in the USA and Viadrinicum BorderLab program in European University of Viadrina in Germany. Her main areas of interest are youth engagement, peacebuilding and conflict transformation. She is actively engaged with young people from Azerbaijan and other Eastern Partnership countries as Schools and University Outreach Coordinator in Young European Ambassadors Initiative.
